AC Coppens, Founder
In sync with the emergence of “Creative Tech Culture”, AC founded THE MARKETING CATALYSTS 15 years ago – a Berlin-based boutique company offering management consulting and marketing coaching for innovative and creative players at the crossing of film, music, games, design, media and tech.
Through different stations as Brand Manager in a global organization, Head of Communications of a M-DAX company, and co-founder of a pioneer start-up in the early 00’ies, AC knows what it takes to set up and develop a business, and now happily shares this know-how through a pragmatical way to work with clients called “coach-sulting”. The Marketing Catalysts develop step by step solid marketing strategies followed by a pragmatic implementation schedule, where all the marketing tools work all together in one direction: business development.
AC has been focussing on the challenges of entering new markets – especially the international ones – and is at home between Berlin, New York and Zurich (despite being French!).
AC is also a speaker, tutor and presenter for events in the field of marketing, tech and creative topics, and offers specific in-depths workshops for innovative and creative companies, universities and government programmes.
Before founding THE MARKETING CATALYSTS, AC was Head of Communications of an international stationary market leader. AC was in charge for the strategic conception, planning, coordination and the measurement of performance of all advertizing and PR-campaigns in 15 countries, which won numerous Awards (New York Festival, Edgar Preis, Preis der Deutschen Fachpresse, Deutscher Preis für Kommunikationsdesign).
AC started as a market analyst at Dorland/Grey to build the New Business unit of the agency, after studying international business with a major in marketing strategy and finance at the renowned ESCP-Europe in Paris, Oxford and Berlin (MBA).
AC had a co-founding experience in the early 2000’s with the StartUp meome.
AC additionally completed a coaching formation as Certified Professional Coach at the ICF-accredited International Coaching Academy (ICA).
AC has a focus on the film field through a scriptwriter formation at MasterSchool (Berlin) and has been attending the production advanced and documentary education programmes at Raindance (London).
Nora Molitor, Project Assistant
Nora Molitor studied Intercultural Communication, Modern History and Spanish Philology at the University of Saarland and IEP Paris. Since then she has been working for international film, theater, and literature festivals as well as independent film and theater productions. In 2010 she began to work at the Arsenal – Institute for Film and Video Art in the scope of Berlinale Forum Expanded and arsenal distribution. She is a co-founder of transdemo e.V. and previously curated and implemented experimental film & performance programs at 48 Stunden Neukölln, Berlin.
